Every congress person’s site has an About page. It is one of the three most visited pages on their site. The challenge here is largely one of photo editing. To find imagery that not only espouses the best qualities of the member or senator, but to also consider the quality, lighting, coloration, and framing of each image, on both desktop and mobile.

Turnaround times in Congress are extremely tight and rarely is there time for conceptualization or experimentation. Instead, I made “quick and dirty” style guides to help staffers cohesively maintain the look and feel of their site and communications.
